It has now been confirmed that Big Brother 4 will start on Friday 23rd. May 2003. A live launch show, presented by Davina McCall, will show the housemates first reactions to being locked up and will start at 8.30pm. There will also be a special show later in the evening at 10.45pm for one hour to monitor how the contestants are coping. From 12.25am to 2am, it will be Big Brother Live on C4.
E4 will show live coverage from 9.30pm to 10.45pm, then on into the night from 11.50pm.
From 6.00am Monday May 12th, applicants videos will be shown on E4 and will continue each day between 2.00am - 2.00pm until the start of Big Brother.
Other news is that Big Brother producers are set to ban singing from this year's show - for legal reasons and housemates will also not be allowed to take instruments into the house.
