<img src="http://www.bbfans.com/images/nush4.jpg" align="right">Big Brother 4 contestant Nush has suffered severe injuries to her leg, after being attacked by a mugger at 4am yesterday morning, in North London.
Sources have reported that Nush broke her kneecap and thigh bone after being pushed to the ground by her attacker. Nush, 23, from Malvern, was reportedly on her way back to her flat in Kentish Town with fellow contestant Scott Turner, when the mugger, a black man in his 20s, grabbed her handbag.
Nush was taken by ambulance to the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead, where she yesterday underwent a 7 hour operation to insert wires and pins into her leg to pin the broken bones. It is possible she may be in cast for up to six months, and may have difficulties walking for the next 18 months.
Apparently, Scott was too upset to talk about the incident yesterday and is devastated he could do nothing to prevent the attack, whilst her step father, David Shields said: "'It is horrifying. She struggled with the man and he pushed her to the ground so hard that she broke her leg and kneecap.
'Scott called an ambulance. She's been in theatre all day.'
