Sandy has escaped from the Big Brother house.
He made his escape over the roof of the house "Jack Dee style."
A spokeswoman said Sandy is now with the production team and they will decide what will happen to him next.
She said Sandy climbed on the roof at 7.30am.
"At this stage we don't really know why he took this course of action," she said.
"He said yesterday he was going, so whether this was a bit of fun, or whether he really couldn't take any more is unclear.
"I don't know what the reaction of his housemates will be - I understand some were still asleep when he made his break for freedom.
"We'll be speaking to Sandy shortly and will take things from there."
During the celebrity version of the show last year, comedian Jack Dee also clambered on to the roof - but he was persuaded to climb down and remain in the house.
