Kate and Spencer have been given the first official warnings by Big Brother.

The show has introduced a "three strikes and you're out" rule to deter persistent rule breakers.

Kate received the warning for crossing the "rich and poor" divide.

She claims Spencer dragged her through the bars against her will but was pleased Big Brother was taking a stand against rule-breaking.

The two housemates have all been called into the diary room individually to be warned about last night's behaviour.

The "rich" housemates were seen to be passing luxuries including champagne and cigarettes to their "poor" colleagues.

But it appears only Kate and Spencer have been penalised formally.
