Big Brother escapee Sandy says leaving is the most exciting thing that happened to him in the house.
He told Big Brother's Little Brother presenter Dermot O'Leary he enjoyed the experience but couldn't take the lack of stimulation.
He escaped from the Big Brother house at 7.30am this morning.
Sandy said: "I did what I thought was right, and left when I thought it was right to leave.
"You've got to have some kind of stimulation, if you have no mental or physical stimulation something gives. I wasn't getting anything from the experience.
"I think that I'll be spoken about maybe today then tomorrow I'll be forgotten about."
The Scot said the only people he was sad to leave were Alex and Adele.
"I think probably Alex and Adele are people I'd like to see again. But it's a very false environment. Anyone who thinks you can make great friends over 10 weeks in there is slightly naive.
"I would never say it was a mistake, maybe I was a bit naive, but I went in there and enjoyed the experience for what it was.
"It takes a strong person to walk away. Escaping from the house was probably the most exciting thing that happened for me."
Big Brother bosses are locked in talks to decide whether a replacement for sandy will be brought into the house.
