I cant understand why she has no intention about bringing chares to the person who supposidly raped her? If she just wanted to forget about it and brush it under the carpet then why create a media frenzy about who it might be by publishing titbit facts in an autobiography.

If it wasnt Lesley, then I cant see any reason for her not to go to the police and tell them it wasnt. You would have be very selfish in my opinion to have someone go through that if you know they are innocent. It maybe true that the convictions that were bought against lesely were nothing to do with Johnson but allegations have been everywhere since the day the autobiography came out. Why not quash the rumors about him being the attacker if it wasnt him? Why stand by and see an innocent man get dragged through the gutters of the press?

As far as the other women go, I wouldnt dare to say that it was all bandwagon jumping but maybe the real victims got scared off leaving the media hunters behind. Those who were after the money and the press rather than to bring justice to a criminal?

John Leslie has had a reputation for lewd behaviour, in showbiz circles, and for years has led a certain lifestyle.....eventually it catches up with you, sometimes a little mud sticks...it would appear, though, that he has been falsely accused of a most serious charge, and IF he is innocent, he's been through hell.....still confused, though ,by Ulrika Jonssons bizarre
behaviour.

Adrian_L i think i can clear up her bizzare behaviour ..... she had a book to sell and needed all the press she could get .... sounds fessible?
From ulrikakakas perspective , either leslie did it or not .... if not , she should have cleared his name much earlier on , when his name got publiscised .... if he DID do it then she should have followed up on it.
He was known as a ladies man for a long time b4 this maybe thats why his name popped up .... she was doing interviews with him after the alledged rape .... now THAT doesnt make sense to me ..... the whole thing stinks + i think ulrikakaka has came out the worst of all

the rape was a date rape the hardest one to prove slip a drug when out with someone your dating and thats it in many many cases the victim doesnt even remember - have ya see corrie with roy thats exactly how it works and thats why she didnt want to go to court

IF Jonsson has ridden the media circus about Leslie to help further her book sales then yes it is truly dispicable, but that is hearsay.

It is true about Leslies reputation, I havent seen it in person but I have met several people who have stories to tell about his behavior and pushiness as far as women are concerned. This does not of course mean that he is guilty, just that he has a reputation for being forceful with women.

One of the reasons his name was touted was because of this, mud sticks as you have said. Ulrika should have in my opinion made a statement if it wasnt Leslie, but then again, if it was or wasnt it created a lot more interest in her book than would have been if not for this.

What do you mean hearsay? The revelations were made in her book? It was all over the media , at the time of release! What more do u want!

Its speculation to say that she made no comment and further fuled the fire of the Leslie allergations on the pretence of gaining more sales only. I would imagine only Ulrika herself could tell you the real truth behind her silence, therefore making all allegations against her hearsay, rumors created by people to try and explain her actions. Bizzar as they may be we can only speculate on what the truth may be.
It obviously helped her book gain more media interest, but we do not know for sure that this was the only reason behind it. Please remember that Ulrika never bought Leslie's name into the equasion, that was done by the media and people withing celeb circles.

ulrika only stated she was raped she never said who it was and from what she wrote you cant tell who it is = was just the showbiz world that was convinced it was him because of his reputation

the only point I made was that why did they pick on leslie cos there are no indications in her book was purely their speculation on him and not hers she also made a statement to police they decided to carry on we dont know what she said
