Anyone remember that email going around years ago (it still circulates) about 2 men in a car park asking women if they want to buy knock off perfume and when the woman sniffs it, it knocks her out and they rob her etc?
And there's another one about a man with aids who is so pissed off with having the virus that he goes around all the cinemas in the country placing infected needles in random seats?
And not forgetting the Mc Donalds Double McSperm Burger, or the mobile phone ACE virus.
Well I read these before the millenium and the Doris's at work still come in with ''oooh oooh oooh, I heard that 2 men blah blah blah'' and it's always somewhere local which it happened, only they are too stupid to realise it would be headline news in their beloved Gazette if it were true.
I've learned over time to reply with a shocked ''oh really??!'' as they love to believe these stories and I think they see me as some kind of smart arse for always putting them right on things!
Anyway...This is a good site to look up anything you think is a bit dodgy.
It also lists viruses under 'computers' and tells you if they are hoaxes or not.
