I've had them before and like morrisey said I just bite them!
Last time I had one it was massive on the inside of my cheek and I bit it and I felt no pain and it just disappeared without a trace. I was wondering if I had imagined it all. It was wierd because it was soooo big.
:-?

Sounds to me like Madeline's 'cure' is the best so far.

Used to have a lot of experience with mouth ulcers (boy, was I a wreck in my twenties, mouth ulcers, coldsores.... )

My best tip would be for 'Chloraseptic' Spray. Apply it before you eat ('cos that's the worst thing, isn't it?)...and you can go and eat a tomato, no trouble at all.

It used to be very cheap years ago...you'd get a big bottle for about £3. Gradually the bottles got smaller, and more expensive, but it's still worth buying.

The idea of biting them is making me feel quite ill...

I agree gg, it seems ill-making, the worse one is when they're in the cranny of your mouth, half on the upside, half on the down :-?

I never found a cure, but I had most of them when I was young, I only get one every few years now, much relieved about it too!!!

THanks for all the advice.

Its all to do with the IBS, apparently.

I also suffer from bad tastes in my mouth occassionaly.
