Watching this now and it's breaking my heart. What has been learned from this? Has it changed the gun laws? What is possilbe to do to help prevent this from happening again? Is there anything that normal people can do to help stop this happening again or to give support to those affected?

It's just too sad for words...

edit: are there any campaigns for tighter gun laws or would that even help? Where would you sign petitions and who would you write to to help stop that from happening again?

there's a very worrying conspiracy out there which links Dunblane and our involvement in the Iraq invasion. For legal reasons, none of it can be put on here, but if you can google it, it's astonishing. Dunno whether its some crackpot's idea or not.

The campaigns for new gun laws are a bit of a waste of time in the majority of cases. Very few crimes are committed with legal weapons.

What about a guns amnesty then? How do us average folk go about asking for one of those? Who do we ask? Would it really make any difference or not? A 14 year old girl from my street (Danielle Beccan) was shot and killed last year in a drive by. To name but one. Getting pretty sick of associating flowers with lamposts and posters tbh
