In our local Tesco store, there is half an aisle selling Halloween stuff, then Christmas stuff in the next aisle down. Where are they going to fit in the fireworks?

Heard a Dublin woman on the radio last night - she has her Christmas tree up - a month before the clocks go back!

My Dad has seen a house near Denton (Stockport) which is completely done up from top to bottom, looks mint apparently, though it's very early!

To my shame I only put the christmas stuff back in the loft a few weeks ago. It had been sitting in my sons room in a big box

Will have to think about getting the lights down next month!!

Three weeks before Halloween - and the musak being played, as I stood at the check-out in Tesco's this afternoon, was 'God rest ye Merry Gentlemen'.

I have star lights in my living room window - do they count? They were originally Christmas decorations but I really like them and they have been there for nearly two years

Today we went out for lunch and the place was FULL of Christmas decorations they were selling. I wanted to cry!

Yeah, was going to say - if you don't intend them to be Christmas lights then it's not bad I don't think as sparkly lights and stuff don't necessarily look tacky.

We have fairy lights in the garden (no plants, just fairy lights ::lol:: ) all year around, and daughters' rooms are a feast of different lighting experiences.

And there's the big red light...

Right enough, when it comes to lighting... I have those net lights up in the end kitchen window and paper lanterns in a window upstairs.

I love fairy lights, but Martin's not so keen unless it's Christmas. :-(
