Thanks for this Larry. Have tried solutions 1 - 3. No luck. On no 4, I can't find entertainment in accessories and looked for it using the search programme also, but no joy. 5, 6 and & don't apply and I wouldn't know how to do no 8.
Gawd I hate computers, or rather I hate me and computers. Thanks Larry, but it looks like I'll be ringing the shop when they open on Thursday.
Oh and I just found a little speaker icon but when I click it, it says 'no audio output device is installed'. Surely this would automatically be in the hardware? I'ver never had this issue before.
