It's a money making marketing ploy but its great if you've got somone who spoils you!

Last year 2 dozen red roses and a huge teddy with a heart saying i love you delivered to the shop!

This year a 5 foot cuddly monkey, with a big heart round his neck!!

Then again it's his birthday on the 13th and he was spoilt rotten yesterday!!!

I got a big heart-shaped thorntons box of choccs delivered this morning with a cuddly 'Jungley Monkey'

All I got him was a card, a box of after eights and a single red rose, but it's the thought that counts!

I got him a bottle of his favourite wine and a card but i spent close to a grand on his birthday yesterday so I wasnt about to spend much on valentines day for him ::lol::

His main pressie was a flat screen TFT TV which he's been on about for years... that was the most expensive thing, he wanted a 44" plasma screen but I couldnt quite justify the expense of 5000 quid!! ::lol::

He also had 2 pairs of 501's, an infra red transiever for his mobile to the pc, a game for the x-box, and lots of little things...not quite a grands worth but not far off! He was quite spoilt yesterday by everyone....

His mumgot him a jumper (on the advice of his 14 year old sister) with Phat ******* :eek:

written on the front in HUGE letters ... we took it back yesterday and exchanged it for a plain one!! I said "he's 37 not 17" oh dear ::lol::

Didnt get anything, as usual, woohey!

Although Me, Rob, Adam, and Josh sent Russel a red rose from someone in our form.... which was funny, cos he was trying to figure out who it was from..... muahahahahahha!
