I have to go to dinner at the Hilton Park Lane tonight...never been there before and don't know what the hell to wear...I've heard it's quite posh.
Anyone else been there? If so help me out on what to wear....I was thinking of black trousers and jacket just to play it safe, but someone told me that they all wear ball gowns and stuff
I don't know if they're pulling my leg or not

Is it a black Tie do?

It's a friend's birthday and he's booked a table there and thats all I know
I'm not usually like this, but I hate going somewhere I've never been before cos I always get it wrong

i wouldnt know, id wear a nice dress though, long and flowing to the floor..........

There will be people dressed to the nines there, but if its not a formal function then I wouldnt worry to much.
nice dress or suite should be fine.

Ask your friend how formal it is and go from there??!

I have neither the time nor the cash unfortunately.
I only found out yesterday.
I'll just have to get the straighteners on my hair and make do with a bubble bath, face wash and good old nivea!
I have one of those file/buffer emery board things somewhere.
This has made me realise how un organised I have become.

you 'll have a gr8 time whatever you wear, but why do girlies take soooo long to get ready?

Once I've decided what to wear (OK takes a while choosing ) I can be shaved/showered in 10 mins
