Amazon said that it would be here this morning - Is it - no of couse its bloody not - Means I have to try and but a copy or wait until the post on monday

Mine arrived this morning...I bet postal folk all over the country were cursing that Rowling woman ...the book's huge!

Mine came in a box...maybe your region will deliver it as a parcel and you'll get it later.

I know who dies!

Amazon only got it delivered at midnight last night... my sister works in a book shop, and hasnt stopped tlaking about Harry Potter all week, which is how I know! Apparently they werent allowed it before then because they deliver by mail, so for it to arrive today, theyd have had to send it on Thursday, and they thought someone might get hold of it early then, dont see why osmeone getting it would be such a big deal tho, they can hardly cost the publishers anythign if they get it a day early...

It came - by royal mail van - not with the usual delivery - done 100 pages already - had a sneak further back and if person who dies is the one I think I am gunna be absolutley gutted.

I've never read 'Harry Potter'........Someone fancy explaining the plot from the previous 4 books?? In detail of course........

Never read a HP book in my life...its so funny watching all the hype about it though its even got me slightly interested, i want to know who dies...even though it'll only be a name to me, unless its Harry Potter then i dont know who any of them are lol but then...i think i only want to know so i can tease people with it heh

I am only on the computor because I lost the wrestling match to read the book with my youngest

Harry is bought up by a very nasty set of relatives, uncle veron, aunt pertunia and cousin (around same as a Harry) dudley. On harry 11th brithday a giant of a man inform harry that he is a wizard and the he will be leaving his aunts and uncles to go to hogwards school of witchcraft and wizardry. Its then that Harry finds out that his mother and father were killed by the dark wizard lord voldermort. Not in a car crash as he has always been told. He also discovered that voldermort had tried to kill him using the avera kadavera curse but somehow the curse backfired and harry survived with a cut to his head but voldermort was reduced to something like a spirit and has been trying to get back for the past 11 years

There will eventually be 7 books one for each of harrys time at hogwarts. so far hes defeated voldermort by protecting the philosphers stone, the following year voldermort tried to return using the enchanted diary that he had left, the third year harry helped his godfather (a convicted but innocence murder) escape from the clutches of the dementors ( the guards at the wizard prision) and lastly voldermort returned to full strenght with the use of a bone of his father, flesh from one of his servants and blood from harry, harry escaped but another school boy was killed by voldermort in front of harry.

That brings us to the order of the phoenix which I'm reading now so see ya later

I got mine (ahem sorry my son's) in Asda so got it on the first day and didn't have to pay any postage

Tescos have go loads and their selling them for less than Half price.

I went into town today and the middle of our shopping centre had a HUGE stand in the middle with HUNDREDS of copies of the book!!

Amazon have had the book for over a week in a separate warehouse...it shoed it on sky news on wednesday and the reporter wasnt allowed within 5 foot of it!!! LMAO!!!

Our Asda opened at midnight to sell it

Quite why they wanted to put shoes on it is beyond me.....as you can tell im getting a bit tipsy!!

My sister ordered it from Amazon, but as she's on holiday, and didn't think I'd be awake on time to answer the door, she left a note on the door telling the postman to leave it in the garage!
As it turns out, none of our post came until 4.30pm today! Probably cos the poor postman had to keep driving back to the depot to collect another load of bloody Harry Potter books!
