I watched a dvd that I bought my daughter for xmas.....purely to check it was suitable before wrapping it up ;) :angel:

Pikey! When I was 14 I was looking after my brother and I hired a video for him (he was six). It was supposed to be Fraggle Rock, but when I got it home it said 'Fritz the cat'. I thought, 'Fritz the cat'/'Fraggle Rock' ... ok whatever and put it on to entertain him while I made dinner.

It turns out that 'Fritz the cat' is not for children... :eek: :eek: :eek: :oops: :oops: :oops: :-(

::lol:: Molly, that's rude!!

I recieved a beautiful parcel from a wonderful friend today :wave: Thanks hon! (I was afraid to shake it to find out what's in it in case it's something fragile. I was tempted though, it's a long time 'till christmas and I'm a nozy person ::lol:: )

I attempted the Christmas shopping today. I've got a chest infection at the mo, and I'm really not feeling too great, but I just had to get out the house.
Didn't do too badly. One more trip into town should do it.

As a punishment for not teaching them this afternoon,my yr1 class decided the most suitable punishment would be for me to come and watch their nativity this evening.Dear me!!The standard has dropped since mine moved up the school :angel: :angel: ::lol::

This afternoon I took my children to a horse-stable near by to ride - even my son seems to like riding on a horse (pony actually ;) ).

And today every single female has been spoken about last evenings reception at President's Palace over here and the dresses and the hairstyles of the ladys! ::lol::

Oh I know Milly.I had a brief glimpse at the preschool nativity rehearsals today....seems like only 5 minutes ago mine were there..yet my baby's now 8!:eek:
I remember when my eldest was in yr 1..and I had her 2 younger sisters with me and was heavily pregnant with her brother..and this mum next to me said 'Bye baby' to her daughter(who was a year older than mine)..and I'm thinking..she's not a baby ...she's 7!!But of course your youngest is always your baby.I always thought of her as so grown up but at 6 she was the eldest of 4 ..so only a baby herself!!!
Watching those parents coming in today with all their paraphernalia made me realise I do not miss one bit all the gear you couldnt leave the house without!

What a shame at calling it a punishment :eek: ::lol::

At the play I am helping at in the run up to Christmas I'm apparently going to possibly be seated on the stage so the children stay in their place. :-?
