1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?

Lost 3 stone in 3 months

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

Yes and I'll keep trying to stick to them

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

Yes, one of my best friends Natalie gave birth to a beautiful little girl who will be 1 in February

4. Did anyone close to you die?

Not really close but a friends father unfortunately passed away after losing his battle against cancer (fought it 3 times) and I had a lot of time for him and we used to get on quite well.

5. What countries did you visit?

Wales, was horrible and we lost

6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?

Money, girl, confidence

7. What date from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?

7/7 springs to mind for the wrong reasons but 12/9 for much better reasons as England regained the Ashes!

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?

Losing 3 stone

9. What was your biggest failure?

Keeping it off along with being a complete arse early in the year

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?

Yes, had two minor operations on my toe which left me on crutches for a short time

11. What was the best thing you bought?

My custom built PC

12. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?

My own early on

13. Where did most of your money go?

Rochdale AFC & O2

14. What did you get really, really, really excited about?

Winning the Ashes

15. What song will always remind you of 2005?

Not sure. There was one girl who was on my mind for most of every single day and seeing her or hearing that she was with someone else was beyond gutting. Was never mutual though doesn't really matter.

Probably

23. What was the best book you read?

Only book I've read is Freddie Flintoff's book which so far is excellent

24. What was your greatest musical discovery?

Arctic Monkeys - going to be the best band ever

Good question, can't think of owt at the moment

Money, girl, confidence

War of the Worlds

Was my 21st and we went out in Manchester and had a superb night

Promotion for Rochdale AFC

Knowing people worse off than me and my music

Quite a few personal ones, but 24th to 27th of march, I went up to manc to a kylie gig with dixy and stayed with bonzo and disco and also met the fabulous munty and gunky and had a ball at canal street clubbing

1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?
I travelled alone by train and attended Big Brother auditions.
The train bit was a first and the open auditions was new as the last one was the old
style by invitation.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I never make any.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No but they will in the early part of this year.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
No.

5. What countries did you visit?
None.

6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
A more challenging Job would be good.

7. What date from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Events like England winning the Ashes ,7/7 and others.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Overcoming nerves etc to achieve Q1. Successfully Photographing my first Wedding and
Getting paid for it.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Letting management talk me into staying when I tried to leave !

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nothing other than a couple of colds.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Nikon Digital SLR camera / Panasonic DV Camcorder.

12. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Shocked by 7/7 but not surprised as it was expected.

13. Where did most of your money go?
See Q11 and paying my debts though I finally locked the limits on my cards to stop
myself getting any further into debt.

14. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Too many good things happened to choose ,though getting passed the first stage in Q1
was exciting even if it brought the nerves back.

15. What song will always remind you of 2005?
I've heard such a large diverse amount of music this year I can't really think of one

Same.
ii. thinner or fatter?
Same 11st 6ft.

According to by bank statement a little richer though you'd never tell.

17. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Spend more time doing things I like rather than doing what others wanted.

18. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Less of what others wanted and more of what I wanted.

19. How did you spend Christmas?
With different family members on different days.

20. Did you fall in love in 2005?
If I gave a full answer to this you'd know too much.

21. What was your favorite TV program?
I don't watch much TV at home as I'm surrounded by it all day. But there was an excellent
Non-UK reality series that I followed for over 3 months. The sort where you can't wait for
Next day's installment. You know that 'x' factor that is sadly missing from the UK series
the last couple of years.

22. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
No.

23. What was the best book you read?
I haven't read a non-technical book for a few years. Sad I know.

24. What was your greatest musical discovery?
The songs from Rent as interesting. But I like the unprocessed soundly natural voice so there
Were a couple of news artists in my album collection last year.

25. What did you want and get?
I didn't want lot and go most of it.

26. What did you want and not get?
As I didn't want a lot there wasn't much I didn't get.

27. What was your favorite film of this year?
I've watched a lot of films this year ,some of which you won't see till later this year so it's
difficult to choose one.

28. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
Just the normal daily routine ,nothing special. 39.

29. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
A more challenging job ? A partner ? Who really knows until things happen ?
Things you expect to be good don't always turn out the way you expect and
others can turn out far better. You never really know until afterwards.

30. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005?
Fashion ? What's that ?

31. What kept you sane?
Friends both real and on here.

32. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?

Not really into politics ,but the Live 8 / G8 thing comes to mind.

I met loads of interesting people with interesting opinions and ideas in Q1 but don't know any

I'm proud of my work at my municipality, because nobody has done my job before me ::lol::

I still fall in love quite often - a poem, lyrics, song/music, film, nature, person, moment, etc. can make me fall in love, because I understand the word love in so many different ways :angel:

No

The Atlas of Love was the last book i read last year

I had a lovely evening with my family and friends and close relatives - didn't you know that it's not polite to ask age from a female? Females don't get older than 21! {@}

I can't answer that - my year was satisfying!

My fashion concept? ::lol:: Casual and sporty I guess! ::lol:: And a little bit rebellious, because I have used to like things 10 years before they're global fashion to everyone! :eek:

Basic life in itself the way it is every day like it should be keep everyone sane!

I'm not a teenager, so that I don't fancy that kind of things, but I do respect certain people near and faraway from me

My grandmother

Every single new baby and new child that I have met last year - they are the future!

Quite a few things – mostly to do with honesty and communication.

Don't think I made any (if I did I forgot them p.d.q.!) - have made some for the new year.

No.

No, thank God (3 gerbils don’t really count)

Scotland and England.

More confidence.

A couple of dates certainly will, but the reason is private.

Being real and honest, taking some risks, and not staying silent .

Losing my temper.

When daughter got voted Most Valuable Member in her Youth Club.

Worried, cried, got my knickers in a twist.

At home, with family and some relatives. And some friends ‘on the Internet’ helped me get through it!

I did find more people to love in 2005

Brat Camp - and I think I spent a couple of hours watching some rubbish called Big Brother.

Only saw one new film, (the same one as Jezi saw! )so no point in answering.

Spent the day in London with daughters. Had an interesting time. And I was 44.


29. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?

A lot more sleep would have helped, and a couple of miracles would have been useful.


30. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005?

Climbed out a deep hole, and started to make an effort! :-?


31. What kept you sane?

The following helped me cling to whatever bit of sanity remains:

1. The thought that there is a God who loves me and who cares for me.

2. People who gave me a shoulder to cry on, and an encouraging word.

3. Funny words and thoughts that cheered me up no end.



32. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?

My adoration for Russell Brand is no secret – though I’d rather he lost the beard.


33. What political issue stirred you the most?

Shame on me, wasn’t really stirred, but in general, injustice annoys me the most.


34. Who did you miss?

Still miss my dog who died over 5 years ago.


35. Who was the best new person you met?

I’ve been blessed to meet many new people last year, both here and in the other real life! I am thankful for that - couldn’t say who is 'best'.

I only went as far as the coast of Estonia, I'm always to hung over to actually go to Tallinn when on a cruise :oops:

Passion

24.3, that's when we moved back home

My job

I just don't want to go in to it. I could, but I'm too tired.

Just plain colds and a few bumps and bruises

Our apartment

I hate to be an echo to the boys, but mine, mine and mine. Also my sister's ex, but that's a whole another story.

To our home, food, the care of our kids and clothes

I get really excited about things all the time, but my son saying his first words, pottytraining, walking, my daughter singing and dancing and writing her name... an my job. And then there was this other thing too.. :angel:

I don't tend to hate. It's a very wearing emotion, and I wouldn't want to give any of my energy to someone I don't care about.

Gawd.. I haven't had the time to read much lately. I haven't finished one single book since HP and the Goblet of Fire (except a few psychology books), but I think I'll finish Rob's Feel now that I've started to read it. It's quite captivating.

I found my kind of music, and that's a lot. Don't know what to call it though..

I wanted to move back home, and I did :D

Again, too painful to talk about in this state of extasy and exitement I'm in right now :D
