I just couldn't imagine being on dialup again, I started off way back in the 90's on a 14k4 kbs and thought that was amazing mind ::lol:: ::lol::

8mb will be the norm in a year or so for the same money as 2mb now.

A quick note on this subject.

I had to make a decision on Tuesday when my dial up modem died! I stuck to my service provider - Blueyonder - they gave me free installation and modem and three months half price for a 2 mb connection as an existing user. They installed it this afternoon - could have come yesterday - and here I am back online. I was absolutely lost without my internet connection. Will try this out for now and if necessary upgrade if I need it and - best of all - I kept my main e-mail address that I have had forever. :D :D

Now just have to make that decision on wifi .......

Cameron, patience is a virtue.

Can't you just quietly wait for the pornographic images of Lea to download like the rest of us dial-uppers?

::lol::

Actually I have not seen any of Lea's photos or vid-clips (must be one of the only people in Britain who hasn't).

I am just frightened I might actually feature in a few of them! :eek:

One suggestion from a friend was to cut the Telewest line and go with BT broadband and Pipex - they too said they had found it really good.

We're with Homecall, which is essentially pipex and its 2 meg broaband for about 17£ pcm and we've never had anything bad to say about it - its fast and superdooper brilliant.
Also, if you do, mention our name and we can get kudos for reccomending you :P
