Jezi, I'm flabbergasted that you are trying to convince your mum about bring the thingy to the restaurant.

I'm delighted if I can get my 16 year old heiress to agree to go to a restaurant with us...if she wanted to bring a combine harvester with her, there'd be no way her parents could stop her. :oops:

I bought some pears today. Was peckish; fancied a Crunchie, but chose to eat a pear instead. A little achievement. :oops:

:eek: Today I filled up my tank of my car with gasoline: price of today were 1.409 €/litre (octane 95) :eek: :puke: (that's 0.9604 GBP/litre and 1 litre is about 1.76 pints) :-( :8o:
