The Olympus u-mini does an amazing job and it's one of the smallest cameras I've seen. But with 5MP and a decent sensor it does the job.

Not much to photo right now but as the Olympus isn't useable due to a fault I was playing with the photo section of my Digital Camcorder. It's half the resolution at only 2.3MP but when you keep picture size small it's not too bad.

Have found some interesting tapeless Digital video camcorders on Ebay that record onto SD cards in Xvid but also act as a camera. 5MP sensor interpolinated to 12MP ,3 inch LCD .Looks rather like my Panasonic NV-GS150 but in black without the tape section. For £105 + postage. Very compact and will fit in a pocket. Will have to see if Santa leaves any folding stuff.

Look HERE This is the camera. Looks very interesting.

Lovely photos larry. It doesn't look as though the Ebay item was sold and has ended now, so maybe it will be listed again cheaper.

The company selling them has hundreds on there.
I've delt with them before as that's where my Wireless Router came from and last time they were very helpful.
They also appear to be the only people selling the cameras.
I think they just relist them when they don't sell.

I'll have to wait a while as I can't afford one right now but I think they'll be selling them for a while.

But if it's as good as it sounds it'll be worth the wait.

Nativity scene created by my mother.
The background is a very reflective silver foil type paper and the colour depends on the angle you catch it at.

Took this yesterday - thought the "scene" was quite pretty but the photo quality doesn't do it justice.

see below!!

Glad you like it GG, it's a really lovely place up there - you should have seen the water in the pond, the ice was so thick!

Great scene wish we had similar when I'm not working but have missed the few we've had.

Glad you all like it, it's one of my favourite places regardless of if it's the winter or not. The picture was pants until Larry got it sorted though :D

It's not Balmoral Chad, it is in the grounds of a local castle though ()^
