Im 11 they let me go to my next door neighbours funeral earlier in the year. But im glad she lived to be a great grandparent she was one in june this year. poor u only having a dad till u were 8. I will talk to then it was m mums mum but i know that i am very upset i cant imagine how my grandad feels in february they celebrated there 50th anniversary

thats exactly it S&K your mom and your granddad are going to be very very upset that day, they dont want you to see that I would imagine.

11 is young to be going to a funeral, I was about that age when i went to my first one. It was a family member but not close family, thats why I was allowed to go. Just talk to them, if they think your mature enough to cope with the grief they might let you go.
And even if they dont, you can have your own private time to say goodbye to her in your own way. Im sure she will be looking down on all of you no matter where you are, she will hear you even if your arent there.

yes i see where your coming from does ne body know wehter your aloud to put some sort of leter in the cofin with them i dont know wehter shes gttin buried i think she is dus nebody know here

Yes you can put notes inside the coffin. If its an open casket then you can ask anyone going to put something in with her, if not, just ask you Mom or Dad to ask the funeral directors.

My brother died last July S&K. I put a little bottle of Holy Water in his coffin just before it was closed. :angel:

she'll be singing and dancing around now, seeing her parents, and looking down on you. She will always be with you in your memories, hold onto them ;)

I lost my brother aged 46y Medeline but it was MANY years ago..

They are just out of sight thats all and as Jonnyboy said they will be all having a grand time while waiting for us...

Sorry to hear about your Gran S & K. It's sad for all the people close to her, but like you say, she is in good hands now and at least she is no longer suffering.
