Checkout operators that hold a full blown coversation with another check operator when they serve you

Barmen who blatently serve people who have not been waiting as long as you. Normally women who they think (in their dreams) that they have a chance with...pah!

clicking on what you think is the last page of thread, only to get the message 'No posts exist for this topic'

but i have to admit, a bit of cleavage *does* help you get served soooooooo many times.

People who hover over you and look over your shoulder whilst you are trying to do something.

People who sit and keep asking the same question over and over again.

not even sure where to start with things that annoy me:

the sound of people eating (especially eating bananas, but ANYTHING) keep your bloody mouths shut can't you? and just make less noise!

my mother being the world's worst passenger (not just when i'm driving) - shouting "mind the pedestrian" when the pedestrian was halfway across the other side of the road and 50ft away.

men who seem to think that the most interesting thing to talk to is my chest (okay it might get me served at bars sometimes, but it's MY prerogative when i get to use them, OKAY?)

ARGH! YES!

shop assistants who look at you as if "how DARE you interrupt my conversation" when you go up to their open till and wish to purchase some items (Boots often bad for this as is local department store where it takes 10 minutes of glaring at Clinque counter to get anything even approaching a "can i helf you?")

shop assistance who ask if you need any help the second you step through the door!

WHEN I WANT YOUR HELP I'LL ASK FOR IT!!!
AND I HAVE ONLY JUST WALKED THROUGH THE SODDING DOOR!

Worst for this was Dolcis Reading. In space of 3 minutes asked by 3 separate people and walked out very scared. And for me to walk out of a SHOE shop.... well, it takes something!

(p.s. never go to America then JB )

If someone does that before I even have stepped foot in the place I turn around and walk straight out, really gets my goat!

Toni & Guy (okay, my branch here, cos they were *lovely* in Newcastle and Manchester) stuff your miserable faces i'll be taking my business elsewhere to someone who's going to take an hour and a half over a 40 minute haircut *and* give me a lovely cup of tea. I go to get pampered, NOT ignored by everyone but the hairwashing boy.

mmm, never liked Disney Store (and WB) anyone that has greeters makes me uncomfortable. though Wal-Mart across the pond employs 80 year olds to do this. whch had me in hysterics everytime.
