Don't worry Molly, I've said things online I wish I hadn't sometimes but at others I'm really glad I did.

I'm feeling the love in the room... All the best, Molly.

Today I had vegetable risotto. I'm trying to get back into good habits with eating, instead of eating the unhealthy stuff in the school canteen.

I'm back, though the children don't come back till Thursday.

I don't eat in the canteen, but we can buy a cooked lunch or sandwiches, etc, and take it to the staff room... I was so overworked last year, and having to stay in work till after 7pm a lot of nights (and then having to walk my dog) that I often bought stuff in school. It was all right, but there weren't many vegetables, and it wasn't as good as the stuff I make for myself when I can be arsed!!

Nope, I'm in a Primary School. We finished on 30th June, and the staff had 3 *Baker* inservice days to do before the kids come back. We've just done two full days of curriculum staff meetings, and are having only one day in the classroom to get it ready. I had to move rooms the night before the end of term, and all the furniture has to be changed with another classroom. We will have to step round the men laying a new floor tomorrow while shifting furniture. I also have to get rid of all the junk from the open area that was put in my room while the open area was being painted, and a new door for new toilets put in.

We are starting the term with no toilets in the Primary 1 - 3 end of the school..... and the place is like a building site.

Happy??????

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I'll be needing my fresh fruit and vegetables to help me cope!!!

Sounds stressful vagabond! Today 2 I ate 2 ice lollies. Bit early for me yet, I now have 7 different packets of ice-lollies in my freezer! I'm trying to eat more healthily too vagabond - it's hard isn't it?

I have to cook for my bf now tho and if I cook him something and don't eat myself he just folds his arms and won't touch his own food until I eat something! booga! but he means well bless him!

Food is a big part of his culture. When he finishes food that I make I've noticed he always kisses my forehead and says 'may God bless you' I think it's to show respect to the one who has prepared the food.

Interesting, I think I might start a new thread about how different cultures view food. I've noticed that compared to Europeans, other cultures, religions, nationalities place a great deal of 'traditions' and 'respect' to food. Whereas we just seem to take it for granted a bit really

uh oh rebs, that could be problematic! Especially the no toilet-ness - the kids I 'work' with we only see for an hour a week and half of them need to go to toilet at least once no matter how many times you ask them to go before they come
