I'm surprised that the wireless isn't built-in seeing as it's a recent laptop. I must admit that the USB dongles always look as if they'd break easy.

Well done though for installing the new drivers.

We thought it was built in but not sure, it never seemed to work. Don't really mind though, as long as it works.

Managed to set up my new phone as well and do the thingy with the disc on the computer so you can put on your own music so my alarm now has a song from Hairspray to wake me up in the morning!! Yippee!

I've just ordered another UPS (Uninterruptible Power supply) for the new computer. A bought a 1200VA model as most Dual processor PCs consume a lot of energy to run them.

And another 7 port powered USB hub for my other project.

Have just finished updating and installing the security software on my new PC.

I've still got the video software to install and workout where it's going to stand but so far it's looking good.

right now not impressed to have "slapped cheek" (I can't remember the fancy name haha) but at least it explains why I've been feeling the way I have over the past few days. Joy!

Watching NASA TV via Satellite via The European Space Agency.
They were part way through a press conference with the Shuttle when I tuned in.
Have also watched a preview of the next couple of missions as the Japanese Lab will be taken up to two parts and assembled.

Pity we don't have a full time NASA channel in Europe .Still there is normally at least two sources when anything interesting is happening and as a last resort there's always the streaming off the NASA site.

Looks like the ESA transmission has just ended.

It is great
