Oh dear, I note that a message cannot contain more than 60000 characters.

I'll have to watch myself!

RN I need to get to bed, as I am, not to put too fine a point on it, knackered!

RN: Going "Flippin heck!"

Even though the forum is barely out of the box, the Gals have already started to 'accessorize' it.

RN

Having just received the Email from EverGlides ,I've now bought my in-line Figure skates. It's taken nearly two months to get the components from the states but it should be worth the wait.

Then in March or April I'll be getting some new higher spec Ice Skates. Exactly when depends on how quickly the boots arrive. The blades I'm sure are made in the UK. I'm told they'll ship with their March order.

RN I'm trying to remain calm. At the moment, younger daughter is conducting a 'bake-in' with a group of 12 year olds in our kitchen.

She's organised a mini-Live Aid today, in the next town, and I'm trying not to panic at the thought of 14 bands, public liability insurance, lack of amps, door security, etc.

Just hanging on to the thought that in 12 hours it'll be all over, and hopefully, it'll have passed off peacefully.

It's all new to me, this 'straying outside your comfort zone' sort of thing...

Next time, I'll make sure I know what she's up to. In the meantime, if anyone feels like praying..

Edit: Just went outside, and found a snowdrop - the only one that's bloomed this year. RN am pleased about that - the calm in the midst of the storm.

Oh, Jezi, it went well, thanks.

It was scary at times (well for the old fogies like me hanging around the fringes) - but the people who attended said it was a great night, and they managed to make a nice bit of money for their charity. It was an ambitious thing to do, and I hope they stick to cake sales and table quizzes for a while. No need to search bags for illicit booze, drugs, and cans of spray paint, on the way in to a cake sale (I hope  ).

Let's say we discovered just how wonderful brillo pads are, too - they can remove permanent marker from toilet seats. (not sure about biro marks from Jezi's mum's wallpaper, though! ;) )

I think God was taking care of us all.

RN I'm off to ....

When I'm out and don't have time to think about it larry I'm happy enough unless it is really bad. It is when I have the time to think about it and when it comes back that I'm really bothered but it kinda takes over but it is always there, hence all the moaning on here

Thank you for caring
