you rebel!!! surely they won't find out?

Well one of my best mates who came with me is my boss' son but he won't tell and it's more to do with the fact that I only rang in at 8pm as I was getting in a taxi in the city centre when I start at 9pm and they couldn't arrange cover for me so had to cancel the shift.

My boss rang me up today and was not happy one bit. He'll get over it ;) Wasn't missing one of my best friend's 21st birthday party.

Anyway, RN am playing Football Manager and listening to a few tunes before heading off to bed cause I'm too skint to go out!

RN just spent two hours trying to set up a dvd recorder and couldnt work out why it wasn't 'talking' to the TV. After lots of head-scratching realised one of the leads wasn't plugged in properly

It's fine now

Don't worry TD we hear a lot worse at work.

Like the lady the other day who didn't realize the her MP3 player only worked with MP3 and had 'Dragged and Dropped' the contents of her CD into it and thought it was faulty as it would play it back.

There are times when we wonder why anybody bothers putting instructions with equipment as very few bother to read them. They'd soon pick up the phone to moan that the stuff is faulty and then spend 15 minutes plus being talked through what they should have done if they'd read the book.

And I'm as guilty as the next for not reading the instructions but as I play with so many different electronic gizmo's at work I can normally ,but not always ,work it out.

RN watching Germany win me £30 and watching Lukas Podolski get off to a flying start in his bid to win me some more money as I put £5 each way on him to top the scoring charts at 25-1! :)

Sitting in the garden with the laptop wishing it was a little less breezy so I could have the umbrella up for some shade. Still can't complain ,forecast for tomorrow for this area is much cooler and windy with showers so I'd better make the most of it.

Also wondering if the laptop is still connected to my network as a) I know it gets a bit weak signal wise around 200ft away. And b) I know the is another strong unsecured network from the estate which the garden backs on to. And the laptop will log onto to the first network it finds that it can access like most others do.

Trying to get the cat to understand that now she's come in that she's in for the night and that despite her protests there's no way she's going back out as she won't want to come back in again.
She's had a free run for over 12 hours where she could come and go as she pleased which is more than she gets when my parents are here.
