Thank you Gaz........I didn't realise they had actual STREETS up there. Thought it was like the Hebrides, just a few tracks, a Kirk and a handfull of 'Black Houses' ::lol:: ::lol::

I remember a sort of secret language in school where you added "ay" to the end of every word and added a letter from the beginning. Obviously my school friends have been exiled to some strange Northern Isle and have been conning the locals!

All of Sanday and North Ronaldsay were without power after a bird strike on Saturday afternoon.

The bird struck power lines at Loth pier on Sanday around 3.30pm. Supplies were restored to the majority of customers by 6pm, with six housholds remaining off overnight.

Power was returned to all customers by midday on Sunday.
