Do the sell Nush Puppies?

I'm not too sure what the shoes are made of, but they are really comfy. I think it's a mixture of plastic and recycled stuff. Next time I go I will post the name of the shop [if thats ok].

We eat lots of pasta and fish, so we try to keep a fairly balanced diet, my husband still loves his steaks and meat, but I won't buy sausages and burgers.

It is very hard trying to change a life time of eating habits.

I dont eat fish, which limits me to just about nothing!! LOL

My other half HATES going out to restaurants with me cos it's REALLY hard to find one that cooks the supposed vegetarian food away from the meat!!

What do you eat then? tell me!

Yesterday :

For lunch I had a jacket potato with cheese (vegetarian) and beans and about 5 packets of crisps and 3 orange club biscuits!

Last night I had 2 linda McCartny vegetarian pie things with roast potatoes and veg (I often wonder if the pies contain real linda mccartny or pretend?) - and a galaxy ice cream chocolate thingy!!

Is that what you eat nearly every day though? Just think it would be hard.....I tried being a veggie for about a week...I lived on beans on toast with cheese, or quiche and salad. Or pasta. Got bored with it after that cos I couldn't think of any other dinners!

Nope, I eat pretty much the same as paul, but subsitute the meat for something veggie - it's easier these days imagine what is was like for my 'rents 20 years ago when vegeburgers etc didnt exist!

Its only really a problem when we eat out... There are loads of variations on stuff now for example quorn sausages that taste like pork or sausages made with leek, onion and cheese and soya...its endless really! there are even subsitute meats now for sandwiches and salads!

Maybe paul should take you somewhere classy for a change, instead of that old greasy spoon

Well I have said McDonalds and Kentucky (where even the chips have chicken in) arent really much good but you know he will insist!

I am veggie as well, I find it quite easy. I try to get organic food but being a student I tend to find the food a bit expensive. But it is very easy, like Obo, I subsitute everything.

I became Veggie because of different reasons to most here, (I am not trying convert anyone here) I found that if the whole world was Vegetarian you would have more land available and less starvation. Less trees would be cut down to make way for Cattle you wouldn't have the dust basins in the States caused by Cattle farmers. For someone who is interested in the Environment I found this to be sound advice.

However if I was in a situation and my life or my families life depended on that I we had to eat meat to survive then I would do so reluctantly.

Obo is that true about the chips

My youngest has become a fully fledged vegetarian and will be gobsmacked
