Witnesses sought to Stromness "hit and run"

Kirkwall police are appealing for witnesses following a "hit and run" accident in Stromness last night.
A BMW was parked on the Back Road when it was struck by another vehicle, which failed to stop.
Stromness Fire Brigade attended after concerns were raised about petrol leaking from the damaged car.

The first half of next week is expected to be mainly dry with moderate S to SW'ly winds, but later in the week a strengthening SW to W'ly wind is likely to bring some patchy rain or drizzle. Temperatures are expected to be above average.
