life was simpler and less complicated?

When shops closed on Sundays.
When there was actually a decent sport to watch on Grandstand on Saturday afternoons.
When sit-coms were funny.
When the Top 40 contained decent music.
When people worked 9 to 5.

Midlife, yes, but certainly no crisis. Well, apart from the sporty car, the young gf and a penchant for trendy clothes!

DYRW Grange Hill was thought-provoking?

It was the shock stuff that made it so good, though I personally think the Zammo story line was too much of a shock. But in hindsight I dont think it was shocking enough.

DYRW Gripper incited a race 'riot'?! OMG, can you imagine that today?

The good ole days, with Tucker Jenkins, Alan, Benny Green, Trisha Yates, Suzanne, Zammo, Jonah, Fay Lucas, Ro-land... and the teachers, Mr Sutcliffe, Mr Baxter, Mrs McCluski
