I'm starting driving lessons next week.

Is anyone else here a recent or current learner? If so, what shall I expect for the first lesson?

on your first lesson you get driven to a spot on a quiet road then you sit in the driver seat, you will get shown where everything is then you will get to drive around, on your first lesson its normally just junctions and stopping and learning the gears! good luck though, its fun!

I'm hardly a recent learner but the first 2 or 3 lessons are memorable stuff, I remember my instructor shouting at me it's a gearbox not a jukebox!!
