for no other reason really, but whilst shopping in Tesco tonight I found that as well as their free range eggs, they now sell "eggs by caged hens". And they are cheaper too!

How good is that?

I don't want my eggs made by chickens that may have something else on their minds. I don't want chickens producing eggs whilst they are too busy wondering whether to go and play in the yard or whether they are worried that they could be get attacked by a fox.

These chickens live to produce eggs. It's their raison d'etre.

Will give you a review of how they taste in the morning, but I'm sure they'll be great.

Sainsbury's eggs say the same thing.But I can rest easy now I've read the packaging is made from fully recycled card ()^

the connection I was struggling with is NM's eggs story but then I haven't looked at what is on Channel 5 yet so maybe there is a connection I just dont know about. :angel:
