Driving home tonight in heavy rain with reduced visibility etc at least 80% of vehicles going in the opposite direction didn't have their lights on !
You just had to look at how bright the lights were on the vehicles that did have them on to see how low the light level was.

The number of idiots ,sorry if you one of them ,who don't where seatbelts.
Most of them do put them on when they see me coming ,but nobody bothers to enforce the wearing of them. And having been involved in an RTA 16 years ago where the car rolled multiple times I can assure you it does prevent serious injuries in most cases. In a vehicle without airbags even below 30 MPH you'd more than likely suffer chest injuries on hitting the steering wheel. And as speed increasing the likelihood of hitting the windscreen and worse getting thrown out of the vehicle in a crash increases drastically as I was trying to explain to someone a work a couple of weeks ago.

Saw a lad tonight with a motorbike ,off road type, rolling down the road opposite without a helmet and knowing him due to his age not being licensed etc. Then him and the owner walked up the road pushing the bike.
The first part is just down to his age but none the less legal and as we found out many years ago was pushing the bike.
When my brothers used to get stopped they were reminded that the bike had to be 6 inches off the ground eg trailered. I don't think anybody would have the time these days to do anything unless a complaint was made. And I know there are youths all over the country doing similar things every day. We used to maintain the local track bikes some 20 years or more ago as nobody else would touch them. But in those days the kids didn't ride them around estates causing a nuisance. There was a large part of the valley with big hills that they used to use. But even then the Police would try to catch some of them at weekends. I know one of my brothers was chased along part of the A45 before it was opened. Can't remember if he got away but he was clocked at 62 MPH on his 49cc Honda C100 ,the days when a moped did more than 30 MPH ahhh.

One last bit which is fun most of the time is constantly being mistaken for someone I'm not. Like the drivers putting their seabelts on when they see the car coming of even when walking.
Saturday twice in Focus people asking for prices for things and 'Do you sell this ?'. The last one I did know the answer to.
Must admit the ones in Focus was something new.
I know my working cloths look more like a security type uniform but in focus I had my Black trousers on with a White shirt and Black Bodywarmer which doesn't even look like their uniform.
Don't think I've every had a bad experience in these circumstances but these days you never know.

What things annoy you ?

Well to be fair - 'Things that drive you Insane' isn't really a game.

Good thread larry - it's good to let off steam now and again.

And whilst we're here, I love the George Formby grill thingammy, but the runkles at the bottom where you can't get your damp kitchen roll-clad fingers in to clean do bug me. DampI said lol...

Yes but NOT when you see them zooming along really quickly and then slowing down so fast that it could potentially cause a collision.

And you KNOW that it's not that name

Im in agreement with Ricky Gervais that silly little noises made by people are annoying- whistling, OTT sneezing, throat clearing, tapping fingers etc. Its appalling!

Also, text speech used on forums.
