Anybody know much about these ?

I own a 520.
My mate has a 510 which now has the SmartSt 2005 OS after the PC program told me that an update was available ,but forgetting to mention that a separate license key would be needed.
After contacting ,via Email ,Navman Support and getting ignored I had to buy the upgrade (£31) just to get my mates unit working again.

Now Maps.
Can the maps be installed on more than one unit using the same key ?
My mates Memory card has V3 maps and I have a cloned card with V3.5 but the 3.5 Maps aren't available without registering them to my mates 510 ,they are currently registered to my 520. But I'm not spending £90+ on the upgrade !

Any Ideas ?
