I hate this day

It's all pretty simple

October - everything geared round Halloween. Can live with that.

Start of November - build up to Bonfire night. Again, no concerns.

But 6th November, year after soddin year, its the first official day of Xmas.

Was driving to work this morning and they had a Xmas jingle on the radio.

Best buckle up folks, Xmas time is here again. First person to play a Cliff Richard song gets shot.

My sympathies are with you NM. I doubt if many people on here could have as many 'issues' with Christmas as I do - suffice to say that I now LOVE January 2nd each year.

This year, however, I am really going to make an effort to put negavity and melancholy behind me. Ho ho ho...

But when I saw the title of this thread, I thought maybe you'd started a totally random section - I've often wondered if that would work. No rules, no nothing - just stick whatever you like down in the post.

Perhaps it would end in a riot, though. Which could be a bit seasonal, I suppose.

Ho ho ho...

The Xmas decor has started appearing in the mighty Brent Cross shopping complex. A single giant red star occupies the centre. The communist would be proud of such a fine sight.

Jamie's ad is not as bad as the stupid one for Argos with the dad stepping on the stars to get to the store....because Argos can fulfil ALL your dreams..pah
