Earlier tonight someone reported hearing faint signals on a frequency which according to my book was reported being used for an ISS Space walk in 2005 providing Space to Earth Comms.

Having ran the data in my program it's ruled ISS as the source out.
The guy who reported the signals is in Herts so using my location wouldn't give much of an error and the last pass of ISS was 1600 GMT setting at 1604 GMT just skimming the horizon getting no more than 1 degree above it.

I think the frequency was once the MIR comms as well. 143.625MHz NFM though I'm not sure if the MIR used AM.

Someone suggested that it might be Russian but really it could have been anything.

It'll be interesting to see if anybody else hears anything on there again.

I have a radio monitoring just in case but I don't expect to hear anything.
