BB FANS

The Orange Tip isn't that comon these days but we seem to get 1 or 2 each year. The female is plain White so difficult to tell from the other White Butterflies.

Great photos larry I can't say I've seen one of those before.

I've only seen them this time of year. We have a tub with Yellow and Purple creepers that flowers in April and these creepers are always in flower when the Orange Tip shows.

There has also been a small Blue Butterfly flying around most of the day be it hasn't setlled to can't be certain as to what it is.

Butterfly Facts

Just had to post these. The cat loves the camera but unfortunately see scares off a lot of the birds.

South half of the British Isles! Unlikely I'll see one here I suppose.

Nice cat. Yes she would scare off the birds. There is one round our way like that and if it comes in our garden, all the birds soon fly away.

It's a big garden so they don't all leave they just keep out of her way.
Have to say she hasn't caught anything in a very long time. She did show interest in one of the pigoens the other day but they are huge and there is no way she'd get one of them.
They only things I've see her catch and play with are mice and she is very good at catching them but like most cats she then plays with them for ages. And I bet some die of fright. A long time ago I posted a picture of her lying on the lawn with a Mouse half under one of her paws.

My mother loves poppies.

These Poppies are emormous and as you can see Bees love them.
