Drinking and Driving warning - the morning after

Folks
With all the parties scheduled during this holiday season I would like to share a personal experience about drinking and driving.

... A couple of nights ago I was out celebrating and had a few drinks. Knowing full well I may have been slightly over the limit I did something I've never done before ~ I took a cab home.

And, sure enough, on the way home I passed a police road block, which is becoming very common these days around holiday season. Since it was a cab, the police just waved it past.

I arrived home safely without incident.......which was a real surprise as I have never driven a cab before and am not sure where I got it or what to do with it now that it's in my garage!

Be safe, be careful… anyone need a cab?

Bit of a belated Happy Christmas to the folks on here.

I had the best of times on this site - loved it when we were one big and (as per usual) dysfunctional family on here.

I can't see C.B.B. because I don't have Channel 5. Did get it via other means the time Jedward @^@

were in it, but unless someone I know/love/think-of-as-the-son-I-never-had is in it, I wouldn't bother chasing feeds/footage.

It does sound increasingly...subverse...though..to be telling people 'oh, I'm friends with someone on Facebook - known them for years - well, actually, have never met them, but we got to know each other when we used to post on a forum about...<at this stage I rarely even admit what the actual show was...just say 'Channel 4'>.'

It was great to get to mix with 'allsorts' on forums. Broadens the mind! ::lol::
