I just removed myself from 47 ******* mailing lists which ive NEVER subscribed to...someone is putting my email address on mailing lists cos its not one i use!!

Makes me so mad!!!!

Know where you are coming from, logged on this morning to 24 new messages all spam...

was told though not to reply to them just delete them, because if you reply then it shows that it is an active account and the spamming company withh target it with other emails in future

no NEVER EVER reply

most have a remove link which takes you to a site that lets you remove your name..

After xmas I had over 400 emails in one account..the main shop one had over 50

The annoying thing is I KNOW WHO IT IS THATS DOING IT!!!

besides, msn, yahoo, and every company you give your email addys too?

My worst was once I had 2 hotmail accounts to the limit in one night, yahoo account to the limit and my work addy had 232!

Must have been the night for it...lol

Also I recieve about 5 virus' a day to my work addy

No Ive never given that email address out its a private one I set up for my mates to use rather than use the shop one to keep them separate!

It's the loser I kicked out of my house 2 years ago thats doing it...I know cos one of them had his email addy as a referer!

Over the last 2 months Ive had more pcs with viruses than anything else! More often than not they're harmless email ones

About 6 months ago I opened a Hotmail account. I didn't subscribe to any of the newsletters they try and make you sign up for during registration, and I didn't give the address to ANYONE - I didn't even send an email from it.

Two weeks later the inbox had around 50 spam emails, including several advertising pornographic sites. Either Hotmail's user database has a gaping security hole which lets spammers harvest the details or Hotmail themselves sell the details. Whichever it might be, it doesn't instill much confidence in MSN's services.

If you ever send an E greeting card or if someone sends one to you...you get spam from them aswell..and they pass the addys on to all in sundry too. I know cos i sent one in the name 'cagney' to a mate who i called 'lacey' (just the once) and both of us get spam from all sorts in these names.
The one that annoys me most is the 'hkm....enlarge your ***** safely' (hkm being the beginning of my addy)...stupid idiots can't even be bothered to check if you're male or female

I keep getting ones telling me how I can join a slimming club and I get weight watchers recipies and stuff....the fact that paul can put his hands around my waist and touch his fingers together (hes not got particularly big hands either) tells me I really dont need to be receiving this type of mail!!! LOL

Well yeah okay...actually he only discovered he could do it 2 days ago and it freaked him out so he has to keep doing it now!!!

BTW I eat like a pig...already today Ive had 4 slices of toast (with MARMITE!!!) and a packet of crisps and 2 cups of coffee!!
