heyo everyone! *Waves at the screen* Was just wondering if any of you or your kids are doing work experience anytime soon? I'm working at Virgin Megastore for a week startig on Monday! Had to go and meet them today... most of the people there seemed really quiet and stuff, but the guy who interviewed us was really friendly, and pretty funny too, so it should be fun! :)

I have done my Work Experience, in fact I did it at my home town film center, so I got free drinks and got to see films for free for a whole week. ::lol:: ::lol:: :D :D

Boy was I smart by picking a film center to do work experience at.

Thats exactly why we pay it - we have loads of applications for Work experience so now they only take kids from London Borough of Tower Hamlets.

its optional whether you get paid or not, i did mine at BaE systems, and ddnt get a penny :-(

You can do Early Leavers things now when you're 15, where you learn a trade intead of going to school, thing is, you have to be mature enough to study a full time college course! OR, to get work experience, my mate is doing her NVQ and working in a personnel department.
