Brian Dowling and Alexis Strum Set for Student Pride Appearances in Oxford

OXFORD, May 12, 2006 – Brian Dowling, the 2001 winner of Big Brother, will be appearing at National Student Pride tomorrow (May 13) at Oxford Brookes University.

Also on the ‘bill’ for the afternoon free event will be singer-songwriter Alexis Strum whose latest single, Go My Own Way, is the theme song for ITV’s new primetime drama Vital Signs.

National Student Pride, staged in association with Gaydar and backed by the National Union of Students, aims to unite LGBT students from all over the UK allowing their voice to be heard, raise awareness of issues surrounding LGBT students – and to have fun.
