The Sun say Kate may sign up to appear on the programme - tho state she hasn't signed yet.

I personally was not an admirer of the show - it was 'celebrity' reality TV taken to it's naffest conclusion, with a quite ludicrous concept - the programme was only saved by comic asides from Paul Danan! - although it has to be said that Jayne Middlemiss has done very well out it.

I don't think lightning will strike twice - the critics will slaughter it.

It is reported that Granada are prepared to pay Kate a substantial amount of money(as one of the big signings) & no doubt Kate would do well financially out of it, increase her profile, etc., but I don't think it would be the right thing to do.

Piers Morgan might well be an odious creep, but he's not stupid. He made a great point about Kate/Celebrity Love Island on Death of a Celebrity when he conceded that Kate does have talent but should work hard at achievement in the media rather than take the easy route as Paul Danan did on Celebrity Love Island.

There's no kudos to Celebrity Love Island & Kate should be in Ibiza further establishing herself as a serious DJ.

With BB & it's contestants being mocked all the time by cynics in the public & media, Kate has still managed to remain one of the more cooler & charismatic contestants - someone who can be respected as a DJ if she works hard, ie 'cool', & someone who can do interviews for Heat & New! which wouldn't be considered 'cool' by many.

I personally think that the only reality show Kate's agent should be trying to get her on is the mass appeal, Strictly Come Dancing.

BIG Brother winner Kate Lawler is set to sign up for Love Island — finally kicking her on-off footballer lover Jonathan Woodgate into touch.

Kate, 25, is likely to jet off to the ITV show’s Fiji set this summer — leaving Real Madrid star Jonathan, 26, to lick his wounds in Spain.

Her relationship with the injury-prone defender has been up in the air since he moved to Spain from Newcastle United.

They were rumoured to be getting back together last month when she flew out to Spain and had crunch talks at his luxury Madrid home.

But her decision to take part in the show for celebrity singletons is a clear sign the couple are finished — for good.

Insiders say Kate has been for auditions for the summer reality show and telly chiefs are keen to sign her up.

One said: “She looks fantastic in a bikini. She’ll be a real draw.

“She’s also funny, feisty and loves to party hard. She hasn’t signed on the dotted line yet but TV bosses are bending over backwards to persuade her and it looks like she’ll sign any day now.”

Kate was the first female Big Brother winner at the end of the third series in July 2002 — which also launched dimwit Jade Goody on to the world.

And she may bring something extra to Love Island — after threatening to have a boob job.

Kate recently confessed she was tempted to have the op to stop people calling her skinny.

And she is desperate to resurrect her TV career, which nosedived after her last show Celebrity Wresting was axed by ITV.

She has since reinvented herself as a DJ, playing gigs all over the world.

Food for thought I guess-it would be difficult to turn down a large cash sum with a fun holiday of sun sea and sand.Lots of tasks and food with some pleasant company.Involvement of some sort sounds desirable.
On the other hand she might still have a dj season in Ibiza with ...er a fun holiday of sun sea and sand with sangria thrown in.It sounds like a win-win situation unless she'd rather spend the summer watching BB of course.

ITV want to start Love Island when the world cup is nearly finished - probably a good decision because this World Cup will probably steal Big Brothers thunder, especially if the England players ignore Sven & play like lions.

In the SunOnline interview Kate has confirmed she can't do CLIT this year because of her DJ committments.She said she might consider next year again.
This is quite a blow with the main presenter issue as well -the publicity has gone into silent mode as they reconsider the strategy.i hope they don't think Kate let them down as she was one of their main wishes.It does show they will consider ex-BB contestants who have built careers outside though.
Surprisingly Kate said she would do the Jungle IACGMOOH if asked-which i find astonishing as this is something I was sure she would never agree to for all the dosh in fort knox as she is petrified of creepy crawly snappy things..The only good thing is I doubt she would be asked which would call her bluff.
