BB JADE'S 'ASSAULT' LOVER HELD


JADE Goody's teenage boyfriend was in a police cell last night waiting to be quizzed over an alleged assault on a boy of 16.

Jack Tweed was arrested after a fracas near the £500,000 home he shares with the Big Brother star.

There had been an alleged "exchange of words" between Tweed and the boy who was with friends.


It was claimed the 19- year-old football agent then hit the boy with a golf club, leaving a bump on his head and bruising.

He later allegedly had to have a scan in hospital after the attack in Ongar, Essex, on Tuesday.

Tweed was due to appear in court yesterday on a drink drive charge but failed to appear because of the arrest for assault.

The case was adjourned until January 11.

Last night a police spokesman confirmed: "A 19-year-old man is in police custody on suspicion of assault and is still awaiting questioning."

Jade, a mum-of-two, said: "I can't say anything because the police are dealing with it." mirror

Jade Goody's teenage boyfriend was today bailed after police arrested him on suspicion of assault.

Model Jack Tweedy was arrested after a youth claimed he was hit over the head with a golf club.

It was reported the 19-year-old, dressed in pyjamas, chased a gang of yobs who had been abusing him and the Big Brother star outside their £500,000 home.

The alleged attack took place on Wednesday night and follows reports of trouble two weeks earlier when Jade, 25, challenged a pack of 15 foul-mouthed youths screaming abuse.

One is reported to have yelled: "You're only famous because you got your tits out on telly."

Jade, 25, who exposed her 'hairy kebab' in a notorious drunken incident in the 2002 Big Brother house, shouted back: "Actually it wasn't my tits, it was my fanny."

A neighbour of the couple in Chipping Ongar said: "A gang of up to 15 teenagers have been coming into the road for one purpose - abusing Jade, They've been doing it for weeks.

"Jade has always been very restrained, but two weeks ago she had an extremely heated exchange. She put this lout in his place and they all left."

The neighbour said that the gang returned on Wednesday as Jade was putting her children, Bobby Jack, three and Freddie, two, to bed.

They said: "Jack came racing out of the house in his pyjamas. He’d simply had enough. Another neighbour came out too and they chased the kids off. No blows were exchanged. Twenty minutes later the police arrived and took Jack away."

Officers are understood to have searched the house while Jade's toddlers sobbed, but are not believed to have found a golf club.

This morning, Essex police said: "A 19-year-old man from Ongar has been bailed to return to Loughton police station in connection with assault relating to an incident in Greensted Road, Ongar on Wednesday 20 December.

"A 27-year-old, also from Ongar, has also been arrested in connection with the incident."

The arrest meant that Tweedy, appearing under the name Tweed, could not appear yesterday at Harlow Magistrates Court on drink driving charges.

So here we go again, Jade or Jack, get involved in an horrible incident.

6 or 7 hours later an unnamed, always unnamed oddly, person, neighbour/friend/bystander gives an excuse for the assault/attack, I'm sure that no PR bloke has been involved whatsoever

Why is she still at the old house weren't we told she jad bought a canverted Barn for £600, 000 [or some other ridiculous amount taken out of thin air by her agent ]a couple of months ago.
That aside, her children were in the house and her and the boxing partner took matters into their own hands with no concern for their mental health.....when from past acounts we know they must have the local police number on redial to deal with their weeekly domestic issues.

Yes it sounds a bit pious, tbh. Yet thats the problem isn't it, all the "hilarious" arguments/fights/japes /jokiness/knifeattacks, happen around her children. Yet its still just good fun, and her fans will defend her ever more, after all "she makes you laugh" apparently, and after all that's all that matters. Last argument one of the kids dialled the emergency services by accident, well its easily done.......

She's also made a lot of money. YAY.
