Blonde Helen's on-screen romance with car designer Paul captured the hearts of millions. The question making everyone switch on Channel 4 was not "would they have sex?", but a far more innocent "would they kiss?". A scene of Helen and Paul holding hands raised more chatter in classrooms and offices than anything those soppy bastards Ziggy and Chanelle have ever done.
It all came to a tragic end when they were put up against each other in week 8. Paul went, with 84% of the public vote. And the fairytale was over.
But what is Helen doing now? Does she "like blinkin'" as much as she once did?
