So whys Brian meant to of won this, by being victim of ridiculous homophobic abuse?

Brian didn't actually win this 'award' someone else did (Tina O'Brien). Brian was nominated along with quite a long list of other celebs. The Standard's 'report' on it is confused. The Standard seem to go their own way where Brian is concerned. He recently commented that most of the press leave him alone because he doesn't try to exploit them.

Oh well, 'Nose of the Year' is an accolade he doesn't need. Indeed why anybody needs it is open to question, its just a piece of PR for The Perfume Shop ${

No he didn't win an actual award, it was just a pointless dig by the columnist, I'm afraid.
