The title of this thread, and presumably the Google alert from which it came is misleading.

It's actually the Miss Ireland final that Myleene and Brian are hosting.

The title is correct sharonmx5. In the article it goes on to say...
The newly crowned Miss Limerick and Miss Clare will then go on to compete in the Miss Ireland finals in The Crowne Plaza in Dublin on Friday, June 20.

Nobody was doubting that Brian and Myleene were hosting Miss Ireland (though you'd think in this, the 21st Century, we'd be beyond such carry-on...!)...but when sharonmx saw the title of the thread, it did say 'Brian & Myleene will co-host Miss Limerick'.

My husband said 'Myleene's agent wouldn't let her do it!' - probably because of the 'provincial' nature of such an event. Personally, I think Limerick's a fine place.

Yes you are right gerbilgranny. Brian and Myleene are hosting the final. I wouldn't expect them to host any of the heats as well, if they hosted one heat they should host them all as they are doing the final.
