Thanks Rince - great blog - love the new structure.

Bit disappointed that Kate's went for the dreaded hair extensions again - the peroxide hasn't done Kate's hair any good - wish she'd settle on a shorter untreated style & let things happen naturally.
Though she does have a striking image on the dance scene.

Funny that Kate said in her blog that she returned to Birmingham the day after The Ministry of Sound but said on radio that she went to a 'cool club' the day after. Mind you, she might have meant Derby.

Next one, she clearly has no intention of mentioning a certain something....

Tipsiness, Techno and the London Marathon!
By Kate Lawler on Mar 27, 09 09:27 AM

Friday 6th March

Went for a lovely meal at 'The Vaults' in Birmingham- they've just got an new menu and I had the most amazing beef yummy! Got slightly tipsy for a Friday night seeing as I was supposed to be behaving!

Saturday 7th March

Shopping on a Saturday is not the one when you're a bit hungover! I was djing in Harrogatethis evening, very sensible I was - no alcohol just lots of redbull to get me to the gig and back. The weather has completely ruined my life today, why does it have to rain so much!? It makes me want to move abroad and live in the sunshine.

Sunday 8th March

Drove down to Londonwith only 4 hours sleep and was djing at Techno Prisoners at Public Life in East Londonwhich was really cool....

Tuesday 10th March

Went to the cinema to watch The International.... Good film. Not great. The amount of pick n mix sweets I consumed this evening was more than ever before, I'm officially the most greediest person ever!

Wednesday 11th March

Madina Lake did Live @ Kerrang! today they were awesome... After my drive time show I drove to Oxfordto DJ at a lovely bar and stayed the night there. Very proud of myself for waking up extremely early, driving back to Birminghamand going on an hours run before my training session with Wayne! Not long til the London Marathon now!

Saturday 14th March

Drove to Leeds for a night out with friends before I was djing in Hullwhich was lots of fun.... Went to watch my friend DJ after that at KerbKrawler in Leedsit was a brilliant night!

Monday 16th March

Did my second ever home made cooking tonight - Kate's special cottage pie! Amazing, my friends were laughing at me making it because I made such a mess but they were very impressed with how delicious it tasted! J

Wednesday 18th March

Went to Selfridges after Drive Time on Kerrang for a fashion evening that my flatmate was hosting.... Saw all the new spring/summer collection that Selfridges are going to be selling soon.

I cannot believe how expensive some of the items were! A leather jacket for £5000! I nearly spat my drink out when he said how much it cost! It was a really nice evening, with lots of champagne and canopes that were to die for! The most amazing miniature strawberry cheesecake cookies!

Saturday 21st March

Had my nails done this morning by the lovely Mandy, gel nails are cool - they stay on your nails for 2 weeks with no chipping woo woo! Drove to Leedsto pick up a dog called Oli who I'm dog sitting for all of next week! He's a 16 year old shitzu who is almost deaf, has catarax, is on heart medication and sleeps most of the day so I'm sure he won't be too much trouble. Played at Sankeys this evening, really enjoy djing at Sankeys the crowd are always so cool.

Sunday 22nd March

Had a nice Sunday lunch to cure the headache and then went to see Michael McIntyre at the Birmingham Hippodrope this evening for his 'Comedy Roadshow' that was being filmed for the bbc.... He is without question the funniest stand up comedian I've ever watched, I was very impressed.

See you all soon! x

Yes, well, maybe Kate is just being real about what's happened. She didn't like her & that's that.
She will be asked in an interview before BB10 & will have a prepared statement no doubt.
Personally, I think a certain autobiography finished any sympathy Kate might have had - but we don't know what she truly thinks.

I thought it was really telling that Alison Hammond, an important member of This Morning who covered every mawkish moment, was never asked her opinion.

Kate Lawler : my Sex & The City trip to New York

Dog-sat for my flatmate's parents' dog Oli all week this week!

He is a shitsu, 16 years old, blind, has a heart murmur, can hardly walk but is absolutely adorable!

He joined OJ and I on Kerrang Radio and did nothing but wee up against the photocopiers in the office and sleep on the desk when we were doing our show.

On the Friday I drove back home to Beckenham in Kent to spend the evening with my family for a meal for Mothers Day, which was really nice.

On Saturday I drove up to Liverpool to DJ with my friends Hayley and Jen after spending a full day in the studio with my engineer Dave finishing off three tracks that will be coming out this year if they get signed to a label.

(It's not me singing before anyone thinks it is! I'm a rubbish singer!)

Monday 6th April

I flew to New York City on Thursday with eight friends for my friend's birthday weekend away. It was my first time in New York and I'd heard so much from other people I felt like I'd already been when I arrived.

The weather was gorgeous, our hotel was in the meat packing district and we did lots of sightseeing as we were only there for a few days.

I wanted to buy a vintage fur coat but the vintage shop I got told to go to tried to charge me $350! Ruined...

West Village and Greenwich Village were my favourite parts of New York. I ate lots of food, the best sushi I've ever tasted in my life, went to some really cool bars and restaurants, and ate in Pastis as featured in Sex in the City - yummy food!

We went to go see the Statue of Liberty but the queue for the boat was over two hours long so we left it, which I was a bit gutted about.

Still, happy birthday Kieran!

Friday 10th April

Caught some nasty cold on the plane flying back from New York and have been under the weather all week - boooooooo.

Jet lagged more than ever before too - next time I think I'll go to NYC for a bit longer than three nights!

Flying to Poland to DJ in Warsaw this evening and back tomorrow for a night of takeaway and DVDs with my friends so we can rest before our big bank holiday Sunday get together - we're all going to The Custard Factory in Digbeth for Cocoon!

I'm very excited as I've never been to the venue before and two of my favourite DJs in the world are playing (Sven Vath and Dubfire).

Will tell you all about the night in my next column.

Til next time....

Kate x

Whether it's because of the relative fame of Big Brother, or not, Kate has certainly travelled the world - she's been to Chigago for The Sun to live a day as a tour guide, been to Florida/Miami for the dance festival, & New York.
My brother went to New York last year, & unlike Kate, visted all the sites - saying the Empire State Building was absolutely amazing.

Pil make it your business to visit New York, it is as your brother said amazing. I was there for a week last summer and did most of the sites, we got the two day pass and hopped on and off at different sites each day. We were stayed with a cousin who lives 40 minutes by train outside New York and the journey along the Hudson River to the small scenic town she lives in, each day was a joy in itself.
I have to say we didn't find it very expensive to eat or travel around New York the only over the top cost was if you wante to see a show on Broadway.
America is a beauitiful country Pil and well worth a vist.

AliceInWonderland is jealous & bitter about something. ;)
Maybe it's something Melanie Hill said. ;)

The agenda from obsessive fools against Kate Lawler, & all its hypocracy, is easily destroyed.

See Goldie. :D
