After an Irish trip last month Kate has a small festival day lined up.
Independent record label Hijacker Records returns with UV Festival with UV paint, UV lights, and crazy outfits, for a second year, doubling in size from 250 to 500 people and happening on Saturday 10th August 2013 at New House Farm, Burstow, in Surrey.
Line-up
The first acts confirmed are Santiago Street Machine, Chopper, Redsparrow, Kate Lawler, Hamish, Stony Browder Jr., and Rob Dyer.
If you don’t know what UV Festival is all about, it’s essentially a huge party to celebrate great electronic music with friends, friends of friends and everyone in between. A totally immersive experience where music lovers get together to be painted and unite. All you need to do is get involved.
The quaint setting at New House Farm, is enhanced with home made bar tops, horse trailer staging and hay bail sofas, to enjoy underground electronic music, ranging from live bands to house and electro DJs.
This all nighter happening until the early Sunday morning has free camping available on site and free parking, as well as various daytime activities.

She seemed to have a good time with her friends at that festival.

Kate's DJing at Nike's 'Run to the Beat' run in Greenwich on sunday alongside the likes of DJ and TV/Radio presenter, Nihal Arthanayake.

Looks like Kate's stepping up her Dance DJ career again!

Indeed think her new career with a pop station may have freed up her dj career she did a fresher event last week.

Anyway looks like this avenue of discussion is coming to an end here.

I'd just like to say the Kate fans vilt, PiL, Geena, Mads have kept me amused and interested, no matter how crass I've been in some statements I may have made, jacked up on hubris.

Wish you all well in your endeavours, and we can all listen to kate on one of her many radio stations.

In the end, I wasn't around here in BB3, but it's been a rollercoaster of failures and solid professional work.

In the end the girl's done well, this is a decent review of her show, and yes in a male-dominated radio world she's doing incredibly, possibly the only female solo brekkie show on National radio, and her late night show is great, even if the music is rubbish.

Should be remembered in her first interviews after coming out of BB she said her ideal job would be having a late-night radio show where she could interact with the public, it's been a long route round, but it seems to have happened.

Kate's fans on here defended her to the max and in doing so were proven correct in our very astute assessment of her.
I remember with fondness the days when we were in the Kate versus the Sibly supporters battle with a smile, not a smug smile that we won the battle - even though we did - it is a smile that reminds me how even now Kate is still my favorite BB winner and I wish her all the best in her career and private life. I wish the same for you Rincewind and vilt, PiL, Geena and for that matter all BBfan ex members.
If the site does close I will never forget all your contributions.

A few live gigs this year but no major effort. I noticed Kate played Apollo festival York with Emma Thompson in June and Manchester Electric Run party in May.
