Very funny comment from Kate on Kerrang today which I'm about to post on the Kerrang thread.

Yeah thank you rince, must break open the piggy bank to sponcor the fabulous one.

Hint in the Daily Star today-with pic of Kate in Ann Summers-suggests **FJW should sponsor her to do the underwear run so he can see what he's missing now!As she's getting hotter by the day etc etc.
Also says they might meet as he's nearer now but as he'll miss the Purple Onion weekends in Boro now maybe they'll even see each other less!(as Kate is in Birmingham-weeks)

No doubt about the intensity & chemistry they 'may' have, Vilt - & no doubt Kate's amazing appearances at The Purple Onion meant something-Kate is really out of this world - get your act in order, mixmag, & the like!
But, we are talking about The Daily Star here - they tried, offered big, big money - but Kate doesn't sell her soul like others - see Narinder's book.

And the whole 'onion bahji' thing & the fact that he is far too thick to understand that IMMENSE KATE will succeed or fail by her own efforts - ie NEVER use an agent to exploit the whole footballer's wife thing.

Cheryl Cole/Tweedy - take note - no matter how lucrative it could be.

Tim Shaw loves Kate because she is just like him - on a moderate salary at Kerrang.

Don't worry about it.
Kate's never worried about 'being' a 'celebrity' or 'glamour girl', the only avenue for many a female BB housemate.

Kate is well respected & will raise much money of Cystic Fibrosis research from private sponsors.

BIG BROTHER'S KATE IS GOING UNDIE-COVER


A Swansea-born man is teaming up with Big Brother contestant Kate Lawler to show off their undies.Joe Haines and the tabloid favourite are planning to add a saucy touch to this year's London Marathon.

The pair are planning to tackle the gruelling course in just their underwear.

Joe, who attended Bishopston School, and 2002 Big Brother winner Kate Lawler are currently in training for the daunting 26-mile run in April.

Following a dare from friends, Joe and Kate agreed to run the marathon in nothing but their briefs if they reach their fund-raising target of £20,000, all of which will go to Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Kate - the face of Ann Summers since 2006 -,will be wearing underwear provided by the company.

Joe, who now lives in London, admits he's nervous. He added: "I've not been in front of thousands of people in my smalls before."

The London Marathon takes place on Sunday, April 13, and Joe is hoping friends and family from South Wales will help him and Kate reach their total.

I was just sitting at my desk thinking about how I could get rid of my muffin tops – and an email popped into my inbox from the delightful Kate Lawler and her best buddy Joey Haines. I’ve known these two for a number of years and they are after a favour…..

The pair of them are “training like bitches” for the London Marathon and over a drunken night a few weeks ago they were dared by friends to do the marathon in their undies if they raised enough sponsorship money.

Now Kate is obviously still the face and body of Ann Summers – so we know she looks smoking hot in underwear. Joey will look equally as hot I’m assured. So let’s make it happen. They are raising money for an amazing cause too - Cystic Fibrosis.

So get donating – and you will be helping Kate and Joey’s charity cause as well as getting to perv on two bodies throughout the marathon. Get in.

Kate has her own private sponsors - & will achieve far more than 20K sponsorship.
Terry George, who owns many a nightclub in the Leeds/Yorkshire area will be on 'The Morning After' tomorrow, for instance.

You gotta be kidding-20K is very difficult-but every contribution is valuable.Kate will probably struggle to get 20K.In fact it's a struggle to get 1K!

You have to speak in relatively intelligent context about things like this.

Remember - it's very difficult for Big Brother winners to be taken seriously.

Yes, a few Big Brother housemates can with help from agents exploit the hype and earn vast amounts from Richard Desmond's Daily Star group.

And yes, a few can exploit Big Brother from Heat magazine & glamour modelling with Nuts, but they won't ever be treated like a peer.

Kate was going to be different - interestly, before the hype began.

I live in the REAL world away from the internet.

Kate's sponsors don't advertise.

Btw, Kate wants to be treated as a peer, not a Big Brother 'celebrity'.

Listen, Vilt - no-one on any forum is as funny or smart as you are.

Kate has never been a 'mega-star', because she never wanted to be.
Kate turned down the six-figure sum from a sunday tabloid after BB3(much to Dermot O'Leary's confusion on BBLB's BB3 'awards' show) because she has integrity & has always been career-minded.
Leave selling your soul & the big bucks to Jade Goody & the other Big Brother housemates who followed to Richard Desmond's vested interest & media hype, - ie The Daily Star Group - & lads' mags.
Kate neglects 'celebrity' to try & achieve something far more difficult, important & different - ie to be treated as a peer.

For instance, over christmas Kate was on the same bill dj-ing with Judge Jules in Bournmouth & Kissy Sell Out in Sheffield, both established top djs applauded by the dj press - some achievement for Kate, I say!

Of course it was a silly idea Kate had about raising money on the internet for running The London Marathon in her underwear.

However, Kate will raise much money.

Kate said she was DJ-ing this weekend at Sankeys, Manchester.

What are private sponsors going to donate?

Yes, Tim Shaw probably got Kate to speak to Charlie live on air for comedy purposes regarding his donation to Kate's charity.

In a sense does it matter what 'apparel' Kate runs the marathon in?? - does anybody think Charlie would renege on the financial figure he mentioned live on air?? - I don't think so.

Of course Kate has private sponsors and she might say what they were. However any donation however modest is welcome and valuable and donating to this internet site is an excellent and safe way for anyone who doesn't know Kate personally (or even those that do)to make a donation to a really vital and neglected cause.I don't see what the issue is.It's good to see 1K racked up. (I thought Charlie said 3k to cancel the underwear thing-although it was probably all hype anyway)
