Don't know if anybody caught the Channel 5 programme last night about 'celebrity' fitness videos(apologies if it's covered elsewhere on the forum!)

There was a section on BB peeps. Kate's Cardio Combat got praised and sold about 66,000. Jade's first sold 85,000; Helen's sold 85,000. Helen & Jade both benefitted from much hype & support in the media during BB(while Kate got none) plus their videos were aimed at women who don't like excercise! so the figures are understandable.

Lee from BB3 & Nadia' s videos sold zilch & I'm afraid they got slaughtered on the programme.

i saw that

they totally slagged helens and jades efforts

mind you, at least helen was on the show admitting it was just a quick money making rip off

what did they say about Kate's?

they said she needed the kick boxing theme as a gimmick to make it stand out from all the rest on the market

fair enough or more accurately half the routine was actually boxing and kick boxing moves which kate did on a regular basis then anywayso not really a gimmick from her perspective....this is why it is good for boys and girls (and even hippae)

It was a bit of a p!ss-take programme.
Mel from RI:SE was narrating & the commentary on Kate was brief(with a brief clip shown). If I remember correctly, Mel said 'Kate's tomboy image was perfectly suited for a kickboxing fitness video - & it worked - the video sold 66,000 copies'.
There was a bit of ridicule for Helen's & Jade's efforts but their sales were based on hype in the media.

Nadia & Lee's efforts, which sold nowt, got absolutely slaughtered.

Victoria from The Sun's 'bizarre' column lays into to BB6's Anthony today because his 70's dancing workout has been a mega flop.

i thought lee came across quite well with his interview, telling how he was exploited by the male dance troup (whose name escaped me at the mo )

Exactly. Deluded, ugly bigheads like PJ, Stencher, Max and Sask are typical of this. And that is why they're all in panto and banned from celeb parties full of genuinely good-looking people.

And Kate's fitness DVD prob flopped 'cos BB made her pretend to fancy that smelly pig.

I doubt Mads meant Spencer though, probably more people who couldn't get arrested nowadays! oh wait a minute I'm sure one of them can manage that
