I take back what I said about Max Cliford earning his fee, he did not get the crowds to her funeral after all.
Most of the crowd looked like they were there to get their faces on tv and the gushing commentary from the sky journalists and the media hacks who were silly enough to put themelves forward was embarrassing to say the least.

My Sister was listening to 5-live on saturday night & Colin Paterson who covered the funeral said there were not many 'celebrities' at the funeral(as if that's important but that's how the media thinks), adding the only person he saw from Big Brother was Spencer(excluding Davina in sunglasses & Endemol's Phil Edgar Jones).

Saw two of the sunday papers this morning, star & notw, certain celebrities were mentioned & pictured but not Spencer.

Did anybody watch the funeral?

No thanks - the hype before was enough for me.

I watched it on TV on Sky on the day from about 12 to 2pm, but I didn't actually go there to watch it. It was quite moving and some good speeches.



Well I didn't actually notice Spencer at the funeral, but he was pictured on the screen, as were Alex and PJ. To one side of the TV screen was the funeral and on the other side were snippets of Jade's life. I definitely saw Spencer on that bit, but haven't heard anyone else say that he was there. It's quite possible he may have been though I suppose.

It was also mentioned by the papers that Chantelle Houghton was there.

I don't know what was shown in the montage of Jade Goody's life at her funeral - & don't know who from Big Brother was there, other than what was mentioned in the sundays I saw today.
I can understand Spencer being there because the 'east angular' comment has been shown many times since Jade Goody's death.

I assume from what I've been told that Colin Paterson from 5-live was there to witness the funeral & to see which celebrities actually attended, Big Brother or otherwise.

The hype was exactly that. I saw quite a bit of the funeral and listened to a lot of the service. I thought the minister did a remarkable job.

I didn't see any of the footage showing 'famous people', but I saw a photo of Davina with Phil Edgar Jones, and Sophie was interviewed on the Sky report.

Well I hope Jade Goody rests in peace, but Max Clifford was in Spain talking to Ruth & Phil on This Morning saying that things were still happening regarding Jade Goody one of them being Jack Tweed wants Max to be his agent.

Yep, Jack Tweed will make money, become a 'celebrity', even, but he will have two problems:-
One, the tabloid media who hyped up Jade Goody's tragic death will be watching him very closely(no doubt he will get pointers from Max Clifford) &, two, Jeff Brazier will not want him getting access to the kids after a certain time. Of Course, Jeff Brazier is media aware & may allow it for a certain time.

Didn't see the funeral, but the quotes I saw today from some of the sundays, including from the minister & former headteacher, were lovely.
I didn't like the person's personality, but that was Jade Goody's funeral; she deserved some dignified comments away from the hype.
